Magic City Books is excited to welcome actor/author Calahan Skogman to Tulsa in celebration of his debut novel, Blue Graffiti. This free event will take place on Friday August 23 at the McKeon Center for Creativity on the downtown campus of Tulsa Community College, 910 S. Boston Avenue.

Calahan Skogman is best known for his leading role as Matthias Helvar in Netflix’s Emmy-nominated show Shadow and Bone (based on the best-selling series by Leigh Bardugo). His debut novel, Blue Graffiti, is a love letter to barstool philosophizing and a tender portrait of small-town life with a simple but powerful message: There’s always something special about home.

At the event on August 23, Calahan will be discussing his new book and his acting career and will be available to sign copies of his book purchased at Magic City Books or at the event.
